FoodInno Board 2016-2017

Agnes Zhu, Co-President Agnes is a third year pre-med and business major passionate about finding innovative solutions to solve issues across the disciplines and the world.  In addition to being president at FoodInno, Agnes is the Global Food Initiative Student Ambassador, through which she works to increase student engagement in GFI at UC Berkeley and across all UC campuses. In the past, Agnes has interned for the Edible Schoolyard Foundation, where she relished in delicious Chez Panisse staff lunches and helping food educators connect across the world. Outside of food, Agnes is a member of the Cal Triathlon Team, a volunteer at the Berkeley Free Clinic, and a research apprentice at the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute.

Hailey Zhou, Co-President Hailey is currently a third-year Nutritional Science, Dietetics major and pre-med passionate about clinical sports medicine and nutrition, innovative food product development, and strategic business and entrepreneurship! She loves sports, traveling, and is a BIG foodie.  Her experience include nutrition research at Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute, interning with Abbott Laboratories, product and business development for the Millet Project on campus. Hailey was born and raised in the wonderful city of Shenzhen, China, and came on an adventure to the U.S. at the age of 16. Her favorite thing to do in Berkeley, the home away from home, is to go for a morning run with friends and explore cool brunch spots afterwards.

Victoria Jing, DeCal Committee Chair Vicky is a senior studying Conservation and Resource Studies. She’s passionate about combining her interests in agroecology with corporate social responsibility particularly in ways that can insight change current industrial agriculture framework. In her free time, she dabbles with cooking at home, in restaurants and at pop-up events. She's learned and worked with Commis and Atelier Crenn in the Bay Area and Alma in L.A.

Vicky is a senior studying Conservation and Resource Studies. She’s passionate about combining her interests in agroecology with corporate social responsibility particularly in ways that can insight change current industrial agriculture framework. In her free time, she dabbles with cooking at home, in restaurants and at pop-up events. She's learned and worked with Commis and Atelier Crenn in the Bay Area and Alma in L.A.  

 
Benedicta Jovita, Co-Social Chair Jo is a senior studying Nutritional Science with a concentration in Dietetics. Her dream to create cheap and nutrient-dense food products brought her to FoodInno. However, beyond working in finance, Tammy enjoys studying at coffee shops, getting brunch with friends, taking morning runs, hiking outdoors, and traveling the world. Tammy joined FoodInno to gain a better understanding of the processes behind the food we eat, while helping food companies solve the business challenges they face. She is very excited to see what FoodInno can do for you!
