Gurvinder Ahluwalia is the CTO for the Cloud Technical Solutioning unit at IBM covering NA and an early member of IBM's technical community working on Blockchain. In these duties, he covers CloudFoundry-based Bluemix ecosystem, hybrid cloud, and other services with the goal of weaving IBM, Open Source, and non-IBM capabilities into cohesive strategy and implementations for clients. Guri has taken $15M-150M dev programs for launch to internal environments or to commercial markets products. Previously, he has led Product Engineering of Handheld devices at Texas Instruments and Consulting practices in Distributing Computing at Accenture and in Digital Strategy at Diamond Technology Partners / PwC. Gurvinder is a Member of the IBM Academy of Technology.

Sibella works at the intersection of regional sustainable agriculture, healthy local food and resilient urban communities. She founded and directs SAGE (Sustainable Agriculture Education), a lean, entrepreneurial nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing agricultural places near cities and fostering vital food systems that connect urban and rural communities. SAGE’s approach is to generate big-vision ideas and implement them through collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Current SAGE projects include implementation of San Jose Food Works, a roadmap for strengthening the City’s food sector; a Bay Area Food Economy White Paper for the Association of Bay Area Governments; and participating in a team developing a conceptual re-use plan for a 900-acre, rural developmental center site. Sibella’s diverse career spans everything from cooking at Chez Panisse, to founding San Francisco’s Ferry Building Public Market, to directing the Agriculture in Metropolitan Regions Program at UC Berkeley. Sibella has produced numerous influential publications and is an acclaimed, in-demand public speaker. She has received frequent recognition for her work from agricultural, food, planning and public market organizations.
