FoodInno Institute is a joint collaboration between two universities in California: UC Berkeley and Stanford. We were founded under the idea of uniting our networks of academics, chefs, industry people, and students to lead the conversation around food—from the latest academic and technological developments in the industry to the environmental impacts of our food production, and how all of that influences us socially. In the past, we have taught classes at the two universities, traveled internationally to host workshops and hosted large events such as “food hackathons” in our home here in the Bay Area.
